Conference / Kick off at Rockelstad Castle
Rockelstad is not an ordinary conference facility. Most conference establishments have hotel and restaurant
business and multiple groups/visitors at the same time. At Rockelstad we only manage groups
and arrange service and food for each group individually.
Not to be mistaken, this is one of our main businesses,
but at Rockelstad you are guests at a privately owned Swedish manorial estate. Our mission is to
provide a more personal and exclusive atmosphere, where the stay on a living Farm
and a unique old fashioned castle environment becomes part of the experience.

Conference premises, teambuilding and guestrooms
We can offer two conference premises, one larger and one smaller. At the most we have had around 65 persons here at
an overnight kick off.
All equipment for conference (incl. projector and Internet) is included. As group activity rooms we often use the many
social areas located all around the houses. A part of our speciality is the extended amount of local outdoor activities
for Teambuilding. The activities are mostly arranged by us with our own equipment, which gives great
flexibility and a reasonable cost. Guestrooms are mainly in the large castle wings built at the end of the 17:th century.
Original charm is preserved with antique furniture, hand decorated walls, and also tile stoves in many rooms.
The houses have been carefully renovated with shower and WC:s, but often we have let the cultural and historical
values prevail over the demands of complete hotel standard.
Conference facility with flexible pricing
We have on this site published conference prices for different number of participants.
Prices are related to the requested standard or the standard that can be offered (for larger groups).
With our different concept, it is a little more
expensive for small groups in comparison to larger groups. We do not have an "assembly line" management of
people and groups, but rather a totally custom made setup for each group that choose to visit us.
Normally we cannot compete with cheap conference facilities in Stockholm, but on the other hand we offer
a totally unique environment without "newly built barracks" for sleeping.
Many activities and facilities that cost extra at other conference facilities are included here at Rockelstad.
It has therefore been proven that a conference at Rockelstad does not have to become more expensive than
at a place that mainly compete with a low price.
Guests at the Castle
Within the family we have had conference business of varied scale for almost 15 years now.
Many companies both from Sweden and abroad have visited us during this time.
The same company often returns year after year in different constellations. Our primary
marketing is made through the people that have visited us and been guests here at the estate.
If we can help you arrange a successful meeting, we hope you return later, perhaps for a
completely different occasion.
Rockelstads emplacement
Rockelstad is located in an undulant landscape with beautiful surroundings exactly in the centre of Södermanland.
With exactly 99 KM to Stockholm, most of our guests come from the Stockholm area (takes 1 hour and 15 minutes to travel with car).
There are many conference facilities closer to Stockholm, we agree upon that, but the estate and castle of Rockelstad
have very distinct characteristics, different from almost every other place. Many companies and organisations have
thought this difference was worth a few minutes of extra travelling. With 40 KM to both Eskilstuna,
Nyköping, Gnesta and Strängnäs Rockelstad is well situated for the companies/organisations
that have their business in these larger cities of Sörmland. Common is also conferences with guests from cities like
Katrineholm, Norrköping (good road) and Västerås/Örebro and
of course foreign guests, due to the short distance of 39 KM to airport Stockholm Skavsta.
